About the TIDC
The Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center (TIDC) is the University of Maine Advanced Structures & Composites Center (ASCC) based Transportation Infrastructure Center that currently encompasses three research programs: The 2018 US DOT Region 1 (New England) FAST Act University Transportation Center (UTC), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Funded Durability Studies Program, and the U.S. Department of Transportation ARPA-I funded X-BRIDGE Program. TIDC’s focus is on extending the life and improving the durability of transportation assets. TIDC collaborates with six partner universities within the New England Region, and the six New England DOTs.
