About the TIDC

The Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center (TIDC) is the University of Maine Advanced Structures & Composites Center (ASCC) based Transportation Infrastructure Center that currently encompasses three research programs: The 2018 US DOT Region 1 (New England) FAST Act University Transportation Center (UTC), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Funded Durability Studies Program, and the U.S. Department of Transportation ARPA-I funded X-BRIDGE Program. TIDCโ€™s focus is on extending the life and improving the durability of transportation assets. TIDC collaborates with six partner universities within the New England Region, and the six New England DOTs.
