Chad Boutet Bio
Mr. Boutet has 12 years of experience in all aspects of the design, maintenance, construction and operation of railroad infrastructure. In previous roles with Genesee and Wyoming, he was responsible for approximately 600 miles of railroad infrastructure in New England. Currently he is responsible for oversight of grant funded infrastructure projects for G&W properties throughout the Midwest and Northeast.
Mr. Boutet has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University, and is a registered professional engineer in Massachusetts.

Maintenance of short line and regional freight railroad infrastructure in New England presents unique challenges. Lower traffic density, age of the infrastructure, and high population density creates circumstances that require different approaches from other regions.
