Dale Peabody Bio
Dale has been with the Maine Department of Transportation since 1983, serving in different positions from Bridge Designer and Assistant R&D Engineer to his current position as the Director of the Research and Innovation Office. In this position he manages the department research program including new product evaluations, experimental construction, SHRP2 product implementation and innovation deployment. He has been in numerous leadership positions within AASHTO currently serving as the vice chair for the Special Committee on Research & Innovation and the chair of the Research Advisory Committee. He is the Advisory Board chair for the Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center at the University of Maine.
He received a B.S degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and is a registered Professional Engineer in Maine.
