TIDC Welcomes Dr. Aaron Bradshaw, P.E., to Their Team
TIDC is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Aaron Bradshaw, P.E., as the new Institutional Lead representing the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Bradshaw is an Associate Professor at the University of Rhode Island in the department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Originally hailing from Dartmouth, MA, he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering at Tufts University in 1996 and his M.S. in Ocean Engineering and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 1999 & 2006 respectively from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Bradshaw brings a unique lens to the TIDC Management Team with his research interests in geotechnical engineering, specifically related to innovative foundation and anchoring systems. In addition to his work with URI, he has conducted research in collaboration with the National Science Foundation, the United Sates Army, NAVFAC, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, the URI Transportation Center, and various private companies. Among Dr. Bradshaw’s accomplishments is a Young Professor Paper Award from the Deep Foundations Institute in 2015.
