Student Bio:
Amirhossein Madadi is a PhD student at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has worked in a variety of projects, including lightweight ferrocement channels and panels as roof elements, surface characterization evaluations on concrete specimens using DIC technique, finite element analysis of reinforced concrete elements, and characterization of cementitious materials using different techniques. He is currently conducting research into deterioration evaluation of reinforced concrete materials in highway bridges and bio-inspired sustainable cementitious composites to develop a promising practical method of producing cementitious materials with improved properties.
