Student Bio:
Prabhat Khanal was born and grew up in Nepal. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Institute of Engineering, Tribhuwan University, Nepal in 2014. After he graduated, he worked in a consulting firm for a year. After a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal in 2015, he started working at the National Society for Earthquake Technology to support the reconstruction and worked there for more than 5 years. He started his graduate studies at University of Maine in the fall of 2022. He is a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering in May 2024.
