Student Bio:
My name is Rahul Anand. I am currently pursuing my MS degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Connecticut. I did my undergraduate degree in May 2021 from Idaho State University. After my graduation, I worked as a structural engineer at Compass Engineering in Salt Lake City, UT. My passion lies especially in bridge engineering. Currently, I am researching on dynamic response of old truss railroad bridges. I find joy in the process of bringing ideas to life in the form of resilient and sustainable structures. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to the field of structural engineering, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
